OTHER WILDLIFE OF HAWAI'I

Thousands of non-avian species occur naturally in Hawai'i, and even more have been introduced including Plants, Insects, Amphibians, Fish and Lizards.

This section attempts to highlight a few of the more interesting species. Most of the species included in this section are either Endemic (E) or Indigenous (I) to Hawai'i, however a few species are introduced and marked with an asterisk * on the relevant page providing details of that species. The species are split into five groups: In the Sea, In the Air, On the Ground, In the Streams and Plants.
