IDENTIFICATION ARTICLES on HAWAIIAN and PACIFIC BIRDS



The following identification articles highlight some of the species which occur in Hawai'i, either as residents or migrants, of which there are similar looking species which occur or could occur in the Islands and can cause identification problems. Dates are the date that the article was added to the site, with the most recent at the top. Articles may remain on the website for a limited period due to space limitations, those marked in blue below are presently available for reading online, those in Black are available by request to the Birding Hawaii website via e-mail.
